As an avid foodie and middle school student in New Jersey, many know me for my kid-ccentric foodie blog. Though the initial start of my blog, https://afternoontea.me/, was to focus on my adventures of visiting Afternoon Tea locations around the world, over the last three years I’ve expanded my blog to cover amazing local restaurants and great recipes all from the perspective of a kid.
With all the dinning changes going on, due to COVID-19, we all know that our summer is going to be filled with family movie nights, and small get-togethers with friends. So how do we keep these experiences from becoming mundane?
Recently, I came up with an egg-less, edible chocolate chip cookie dough recipe that is sure to keep things interesting for all ages:
Preparation time: 20 minutes
- ¾ cup of butter
- ¾ cup of brown sugar
- ¼ cup of sugar
- 1½ cups of baked flour*
- 2 Tbs. of milk
- 1 cup of chocolate chips
First mix the dry ingredients in a bowl, and mix the wet ingredients into a separate bowl. Then, combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients. Lastly, mix in the chocolate chips. Once complete, pour into a Pyrex dish and refrigerate overnight.
